Many prepared for sale by the Shakers, such as Brown's Extract of English Valerian, Shaker Anodyne, and Thomas Corbett's Syrup of Sarsaparilla, plus various culinary herbs, bulk medicinal herbs, labels and other ephemera. Other products were private-labeled for licensed product distributors and agents, pre- and post-patent medicine era, representing herb products from several Shaker communities.
